Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan is back on the sets of Abhishek Chaubey's "Udta Punjab" and she was snapped while shooting for the film recently.

The actress wrapped up the shoot of R Balki's "Ki & Ka" a few days ago and now, she is shooting for her next flick.

"Udta Punjab" has been making news ever since ex-flames Shahid Kapoor and Kareena were roped in to the project.

The film features Shahid, Kareena and Alia Bhatt in pivotal roles.

Although the ex-couple, who last starred in blockbuster "Jab We Met", are part of the project, the duo will not share screen space in the film.

"Udta Punjab" also has Alia Bhatt, who plays the lead role opposite the "Haider" star. This is Shahid and Alia's second film after "Shandaar", which released on 22 October.

In the film, Alia plays a daily wage labourer from Bihar who comes to Punjab in search of work, but ends up becoming a victim to drug trafficking that is prevalent in the region.

Recently, Kareena was snapped during the shoot and in one of the photos, Bebo is seen riding a bike. The glamorous actress is dressed in a kurti and patiala along with a cardigan. She is clicked with her co-star Diljit Dosanjh.

"Udta Punjab" will revolve around the increasing problem of drug abuse in Punjab. The entire star cast is expected to play important roles in dealing with the issue of drug abuse in the state.

Meanwhile, Kareena is flying high on the success of Kabir Khan's "Bajrangi Bhaijaan", which also starred Salman Khan.

She is also set to treat her fans next year in March with "Ki & Ka" along with Arjun Kapoor.

The actress is also in the news for signing a Pakistani movie, for which she was approached by renowned Pakistani filmmaker Shoaib Mansoor.
