Several actors try their luck to get into Bollywood, but it is not that easy. Even popular television stars have appeared on big screen, but not all of them have Shah Rukh Khan's luck.

Here is a list of TV actors who couldn't make it big in Bollywood:

Karan Singh Grover

The famous Armaan from "Dill Mill Gayye" made his debut with Bipasha Basu in "Alone" in 2015. But, the script as well the actor's charm didn't do well at all.

Gurmeet Choudhary

A dancer and television actor, Gurmeet Choudhary made his first appearance on silver screen with "Khamoshiyan". But the film didn't do well at the box office and so was Gurmeet's acting career in film industry.

Barun Sobti

Barun Sobti left his popular serial, "Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon" as he got a film offer. Unfortunately, the film, titled "Main Aur Mr Riight", and Barun's performance failed to impress audience.

Anita Hassanandani

TV series "Kkavyanjali" actress Anita Hassanandani was too popular due to this serial. But she changed her mind to do films like "Kucch To Hai" and "Ragini MMS 2", which didn't give her any fame. Presently, she is doing great after coming back to television as Shagun Arora in "Ye Hai Mohabbatein".

Prachi Desai

Prachi Desai was adored in her television career, but she soon left it for films. Though the actress has done a few films in Bollywood, she couldn't make a mark in the industry yet.

Aamna Shariff

Aamna Shariff captured millions of hearts through her TV serials, but failed to maintain the same charm with her films. She was currently seen in "Ek Villain" as Riteish Deshmukh's wife.
