Karan Mehra, who is popularly known as Naitik of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, and his wife Nisha Rawal, became parents to a baby boy on Wednesday, June 14. This is the first child for the couple, who have been married for five years.
An elated Karan announced the news on his Instagram page along with a picture of the little feet of his son. "The littlest feet make the biggest footprints in our hearts, this is something that cannot be expressed in just words. We are ready for this new journey with our little blessing that has arrived in the form of a beautiful baby boy," he captioned the photo.

Earlier this year, the couple had announced the news of their pregnancy on social media, and since then the actress-singer had been flaunting her baby bump on Instagram.
In the past years, there had been several reports of Nisha's pregnancy. In October last year, rumour even had it that the Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actor and Nisha were parents to a one-year-old baby, who they were hiding from the world. Later, Nisha had to issue a statement clearing the air about the fake reports.
