Kapil Sharma is set to make his debut with Abbas Mustan's "Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon" on 25 September, and like other celebs, he promoted his film on "Comedy Nights With Kapil".

One might wonder how Kapil promoted his flick on his own show. Apparently, the comedian appeared as dual characters on the show. One was Kapil, who is the lead actor of "KKPK" and other was Bittu Sharma, the host of the show.

Rumours were rife that Kapil initially wanted one of the Bollywood stars who has earlier appeared on the show to host an episode, so that he could be the guest. Unfortunately, none of them were available in Mumbai to shoot that one episode.

However, Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Sonakshi Sinha and Ajay Devgn wished Kapil luck on social media.

As earlier reported, Kapil had also asked his friend Ranveer Singh to host the episode, but the talent management agency that represents Ranveer is said to have asked for a huge amount as fee.

Hence, Kapil himself became the host and guest for the said episode and even shared a picture of the two on stage.

The other cast members of "Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon" also arrived on the show with a surprise factor. Abbas Mustan, who are always in white, wore colourful clothes and film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted a photo of the same.

Meanwhile, "KKPK", will see Kapil romancing four heroines -- Elli Avram, Manjari Fadnis, Simran Kaur and Sai Lokur. This is the first comic film for action-thriller producers Abbas-Mustan.

Written by Anukalp Goswami, "Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon" also features Arbaaz Khan and Varun Sharma.
