Kapil Sharma will reportedly replace "Bigg Boss 9" host Salman Khan for the upcoming season of "10 Ka Dum".

The popular TV show was earlier hosted by Salman but the makers are now reportedly considering stand-up comedian Kapil for the game show.

Sony Entertainment Television are planning to come up with Season 3 of "10 Ka Dum" but producer Siddharth Basu has decided to rope in Kapil for the show as Salman will host it only if the fee is at par with what he gets for hosting "Bigg Boss 9", reports 9XE.com.

The report also said that Basu has been trying to convince Salman since the last five years and hence, now decided to replace Salman with "Comedy Nights With Kapil" (CNWK) host.

Kapil rose to fame with "CNWK", which is being aired on Colors TV but the buzz is that the comedian has been having a rift with the channel since it also airs a similar comedy show titled "Comedy Nights Bachao", which apparently has barred CNWK from being a unique show, the report added.

It is only time to decide whether Kapil will jump from Colors TV to Sony Entertainment TV for Season 3 of "10 Ka Dum" or not.
