The makers of director Krish's "Kanche" starring Varun Tej and Pragya Jaiswal in lead roles, have planned to hold the film's audio release function in Vizag on Ganesh Chathurthi on 17 September.

"Kanche", which is slated to be released on 2 October, is said to have five songs penned by well-known writer Sirivennela Sitarama Sastry. Bollywood music director Chirantan Bhatt has composed the tunes for the soundtracks.

Aditya Music, which has acquired the music rights, will bring the audio album to the market.

Set against the backdrop of World War II, "Kanche" revolves around the love story of an Indian solider in the British Army, who fought the battle against Germany in the historical war.

Varun Tej plays the role of the soldier, while Pragya Jaiswal appears as his love interest.

The producers have selected the Port Stadium complex in Vizag (Visakhapatnam) for the audio launch. The reason for choosing the place is its connection with World War II. The city was the target of a Japanese air raid and a number of bombs were dropped on the city to target Allied warships. A bomb reportedly failed to explode and is still present in a city museum.

"Kanche" is one of the big-budget Telugu movies of 2015. It has been produced by Jagarlamudi Sai Babu and Rajiv Reddy under the banner First Frame Entertainments. The producers have planned to shell out a hefty sum for the audio launch to make it a grand success. A large number of leading celebrities are expected to be present during the music launch.

The makers of "Kanche" recently unveiled its trailer on the official YouTube channel of First Frame Entertainments. The video has garnered overwhelming response from the audience, who are eagerly waiting for its release in theatres. It has been viewed by 1.20 million people on YouTube in 10 days.
