The motion posters of upcoming Malayalam film "Kanal", which reveals the first look of Mohanlal's character, were released on second week of September
The first motion poster was released on Tuesday, 8 September, while the second was revealed on Saturday, 12 September.
It is the first time that Mohanlal has revealed his first look through a motion poster. The title, "Kanal" is accompanied with the tagline, "Every end has an old beginning."
The Mohanlal starrer is directed by M Padmakumar and scripted by S Suresh Babu. Earlier, the trio had worked together in the 2010 film, "Shikkar".
"Kanal" was extensively shot in Kochi, Munnar, Mysore, Hyderabad, Goa and Qatar. The cast will also include Anoop Menon, Atul Kulkarni, Pratap Pothan, Honey Rose, Nikita Thukral and Sheelu Abraham in pivotal roles.
The cinematography is handled by Vinod Illampally, while editing is done by Ranjan Abraham and the music is composed by Ouseppachan.
"Kanal", which is produced by Abraham Mathew under the banner Abaam Movies in association with Aashirvad Films, will be released on 23 October 2015.
