The audio launch of Junior NTR's "Nannaku Prematho", which was to be held on 25 December, is likely to be postponed following Devi Sri Prasad's father's death. This might also delay the film's release.

Devi Sri Prasad has been roped to compose the music and background score of "Nannaku Prematho". He has reportedly completed a few tunes, and is yet to start working on the last song of the film. He is also supposed to work on the re-recording.

While Devi Sri Prasad was busy work on this project, his father, noted scriptwriter Satyamurthy, died of cardiac arrest on Monday. The musician is grief-stricken over this personal loss, and is likely to take more time to return to work. Hence, the composition of the pending songs will not happen any time soon.

Indistry sources say Devi Sri Prasad is yet to compose a song for the film, and now, he needs some time to cope with his tragedy. The makers of the film had planned to release the audio at a grand function on Christmas day. However, that seems impossible at the moment.

"Nannaku Prematho" is scheduled to be released as a Sankranti treat for Nandamuri fans on 13 January 2016. Though it clashes with Nandamuri Balakrishna's "Dictator", its makers have decided to go ahead with the same date for its release. But the delay in its music composition is now posing a big threat for it to hit the theatres in time.

Starring Junior NTR and Rakul Preet Singh, "Nannaku Prematho" is a big-ticket movie, with a lot of money and hopes riding on it. However, the unexpected incident has landed its producers in a muddle. It remains to be seen how they overcome this situation.
