At least two terrorists were killed in an encounter with the police and CRPF forces in Pulwama district of Jammu & Kashmir, said reports.

When the security forces intercepted a vehicle in which the duo were travelling, the terrorists opened fire. The militants, who were killed in retaliatory fire, are yet to be identified.

Two CRPF jawans were also injured in the heavy gunbattle that took place at Pampore town in Pulwama district.

The security officials have cordoned off the area. A CRPF official assured that the traffic will be restored in the area soon.
