A few years back, SAB TV had launched an unusual show "Jo Biwi Se Kare Pyaar" that received positive responses from viewers, mostly for its unique format. However, it went off air later.

And now, reports suggest that the show will be back soon with a new concept. Newly titled "Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi", the comedy-family series will be based on a car brand, which will also sponsor the show. The new show will air from mid-October.

Interestingly, the makers have roped in popular television actress Sanaya Irani, who will be playing the role of a married lady.

"Sanaya Irani will be playing the role of Piya Ahuja, a married 25 years old lady. She will be the idle (sic) daughter-in-law of the house who tries new things like making new dishes, taking new initiative every time to impress her In-laws. And during these endeavours of her, the whole family comes together and takes the responsibility of the incidents occurring to reduce the burden of embarrassment on Piya," a source told India-Forums.

Talking about the show, the source said: "The title of the show says 'Chalti ka naam Gaadi' it is a story of Ahuja family living in New Delhi. The story revolves with their day to day ordinary life which takes an interesting U-turn when they buy their first family car Maruti Alto 800. Through this show they will be defining the ALTO 800 as not just a car, but a character which helps to break away from the monotony of life." 

The show will deal with real life situations of a commoner and will educate consumers about car maintenance, road safety, etc.

Sanaya is presently seen on "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded" and has been impressing judges as well as viewers with her stunning dance performances.
