Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Irrfan Khan starrer "Jazbaa" had a decent opening weekend at the domestic box office. The action thriller, as expected, minted Rs 15 crore in three days from Indian markets.

Sanjay Gupta's directorial film had a good trend on Saturday, and on Sunday the trend remained the same.

"#Jazbaa maintained a STRONG hold on Sun. Fri 4.23 cr, Sat 5.49 cr, Sun 5.52 cr. Total: ₹ 15.24 cr. India biz," trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.

Sunday's box office collection of "Jazbaa" didn't show much growth because of India vs South Africa ODI series.

"Jazbaa" will have to remain strong at the box office on Monday to register a good first week.

Meanwhile, "Jazbaa" has performed better than Anushka Sharma's "NH10" (Rs 13.30 crore), which belongs to the same genre.

"Jazbaa" has been produced under White Feather Films, Essel Vision and Viiking Media and Entertainment banners. Aishwarya Rai has also co-produced the film.

The production cost of the film is approximately Rs 25 crore and adding the print and advertising costs, the overall budget comes up to Rs 35 crore.

The makers are expecting to fetch around Rs 10 crore from satellite rights of the movie. But to earn the remaining production cost, "Jazbaa" needs to remain constant during weekdays.

Directed by Sanjay Gupta, the film features Aishwarya Rai, Irrfan Khan, Shabana Azmi, Jackie Shroff, Siddhanth Kapoor and Priya Banerjee in important roles.
