Terrorists attacked an army camp in Jammu and Kashmir's Tangdhar sector near the Line of Control (LoC) early on Wednesday, opening fire and throwing grenades. 

One jawan and a civilian were reportedly killed in the attack before three terrorists were gunned down after hours of a heavy gunbattle.

The militants were reportedly equipped with firearms and grenade launchers. 

An army oil depot also caught fire in the attack.

  • Four jawans were injured in the terror attack. There are reportedly 80 soldiers at the army camp. 
  • One jawan has been killed in the terror attack at the Tagndhar army camp, ANI news agency reported.
  • "There was a stand off fire from Kalsuri Ridge in Tangdhar sector towards an army camp this morning," an army official told The Times of India. 
  • According to Hindustan Times, the army has launched a search operation for the militants who attacked the Tangdhar camp. About three to four terrorists were behind the attack. 
  • An army oil depot has caught fire in the attack.
