A BSF jawan was killed and another injured in yet another ceasefire violation in Jammu and Kashmir.

The incident took place in the state's Samba district.

The firing which is being initiated from the Pakistan side of the border is still continuing, reports NDTV.

Earlier this month, eight jawans and three policemen were killed in a militant attack in Uri.

The attack took place in the midst of the five-phase elections in the state.

Uri is located about 2 kms from the LoC (Line of Control).
