Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg is once again a victim of a hack carried out on his Twitter and Pinterest accounts. Members of the notorious hacker group OurMine claimed responsibility for the attacks.
After successfully hacking into Zuckerberg's Pinterest account, OurMine posted a new tagline on the profile along with the group's web address. According to ZDNet, the hacker group was able to exploit vulnerability on Pinterest that let them hijack the high-profile account.
Zuckerberg's Pinterest bio temporarily read "Don't worry, we are just testing your security". But the defacement was removed shortly after.
In an email sent by OurMine to ZDNet's Zack Whittaker, the hacker group claimed to have got Zuckerberg's password for his Twitter account, but they were unable to access it due to the two-factor authentication on the account. A sensible move by Facebook founder after the first attack on his social media accounts in June.
OurMine told ZDNet's reporter revealed that Zuckerberg's Twitter password was same as his former Gmail password, which was changed six months ago, and the phone number associated with the account ended in "86".

OurMine is known for its series of attacks on high-profile users and defacing their accounts with their name and contact details. The group claims it is their hope that the victims reach out to them for security advice. It would cost $5,000 per scan for users to know if their social media account is really secure or not.
Some of the popular names in the Silicon Valley, including Google's Sundar Pichai, Yahoo's Marissa Meyer, and Uber's Travis Kalanick, have all been victims of OurMine's attacks. The group also claimed responsibility for hacking popular magazines Buzzfeed and Variety earlier this year.
