There is worrying news once again for fans of Atletico de Kolkata, as marquee player Helder Postiga looks unfit to participate in the remainder of the Indian Super League (ISL) games this season, coach Antonio Habas has confirmed.

The Portuguese international brought joy to ATK supporters after returning following his treatment from a hamstring knock picked up on the inaugural day of the season.

Postiga scored a brace on the opening day for the ISL champions in a game against Chennaiyin FC at the Marina Arena, and that remains the first and probably the last time we have seen the 33-year-old play in the ISL.

He made his return on 14 November just in time for ATK's home games, but did not feature in any of the previous two matches due to his struggles with match fitness.

"He's [Postiga's] training with the side, but he's still not match-fit. He's still not fit enough to play in the tournament. At the moment, he's not available for ISL," Habas told reporters ahead of their game against FC Pune City on Friday. "He's not making much improvement in his fitness."

Atletico de Kolkata have two games remaining this season, and they look the favourites to make it to the playoffs, as they currently lead the table with 20 points from 12 games.
