Arjun Kapoor made his debut in Bollywood opposite Parineeti Chopra in "Ishaqzaade" and since then fans have been eagerly waiting for the pair to make a comeback on screen. The recent buzz is that Parineeti has been approached for Anees Bazmee's "Mubaraka," which will also star Arjun.

"Parineeti has met the makers, but nothing has been finalised as yet," a source told Deccan Chronicle. It will be a treat for the fans if the "Ishaqzaade" pair makes a comeback on the silver screen. Parineeti is currently working on the musical film, "Meri Pyaari Bindu," alongside Ayushmann Khurrana.

On the other hand, "Mubaraka" was supposed to be directed by Milap Zaveri earlier, but things didn't work out with the "Mastizaade" director. In the film, Arjun will share screen space with his uncle Anil Kapoor and they will play their real life characters of 'chacha-bhatija.'

"In the film, Anil and Arjun will be playing 'chacha-bhatija'. Both share a great camaraderie off screen and we are hopeful that the audience will like their on screen jodi as well," a source told the Press Trust of India.

"Mubaraka" is said to be a story about Arjun's character, who is an eligible bachelor, and two beautiful women who want to marry him. Anil plays Arjun's love guru and helps him choose between the two gorgeous ladies.

It had been reported that Arjun turned down the offer of Karan Johar's movie to star with his uncle Anil in "Mubaraka." The "2 States" actor is currently shooting for Mohit Suri's "Half Girlfriend." It is based on a novel by Chetan Bhagat, which is the story of a boy from a rural yet royal family in Bihar who falls in love with a Delhi girl. Arjun will share screen space with Shraddha Kapoor for the first time in this film.
