Apple hasn't officially released details of its upcoming flagship devices dubbed as iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. But leaks have revealed key information - from advance booking, release dates to features. A new report has claimed that pre-orders and shipment of the devices will begin earlier than expected.
iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus will be up for pre-orders on 11 September and shipments will kick off on 18 September, according Mac4ever (via PhoneArena).
The report contradicts an earlier report by Telegraph and New Phone that the new models will be open for advanced booking on 18 September and released in to the market on 25 September.
According to a report by M.I.C. Gadget, iPhone 6s will be 7 mm thick (6.9 mm thick in the iPhone 6), and iPhone 6s Plus will be 7.13 mm thick (7.1 mm thick in the iPhone 6 Plus). There were reports that iPhone 6s will sport a 4.7-inch display and the 6s Plus will have a 5.5-inch screen.
Both the devices are expected to be powered by a A9 chip processor, will run on iOS 9, packed with 32 GB internal memory, 2 GB RAM, and house a 12 MP camera. They are also expected to feature improved fingerprint censors, Force Touch and stronger aluminium alloy chassis.
