'India Indulging in Water Terrorism': Hafiz Saeed Makes Ridiculous Claims on Kashmir Floods

Giving an atrocious perspective to the humanitarian crisis on both sides of the border because of floods, terrorist Hafiz Saeed, best known for being the brain behind the 26/11 attacks, has blamed India for the flood crisis.

The JuD chief claimed that India is indulging in "water-terrorism", blaming Indian authorities for using dams constructed in "Indian Kashmir" to flood Pakistan territories.

"On one hand, the Indian government has discharged water in rivers without notification and has given false information, and on the other, is ironically offering help," Saeed said at a press conference, in reference to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's offer to help Pakistan in the flood crisis. "We consider this an act of open mischief," The Hindustan Times quoted him. 

Saeed said that India's offer for help to Pakistan is like "rubbing salt on the wounds of Pakistani and Kashmiri people."

The flash floods that caught people in Kashmir and in Pakistan unawares led to dangerous swelling of rivers and triggered fatal landslides. Incessant rains have further added to the misery of the people.

JuD, an outfit seen as an arm of the Lashkar-e-Toiba, a militant outfit that Saeed himself founded, has been carrying out rescue and humanitarian operations in the flood-hit regions in Pakistan, where 200 people have reportedly lost their lives so far, especially in Punjab and PoK.

Saeed is the most wanted man in India for being the mastermind behind the 26/11 attacks in the city of Mumbai in 2008, wherein ten heavily armed terrorists open fired at several iconic locations in the city, killing more than 160 people.

Interstingly, this claim by Saeed against India and Modi comes just two months after he had met Indian journalist Ved Pratap Vaidik and had reportedly 'welcomed' the Indian Prime Minister to Pakistan.
