The International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) is back with the 19th edition and this year it is being held at Bangkok, Thailand. The three-day extravaganza is coming to an end with the winners being announced in just a few hours. From green carpet to winners list and dance performances, here are the live updates of IIFA Awards 2018. 

Best Actor Award

And the Best Actor Award goes to Irrfan Khan for Hindi Medium. He was competing with Ranbir Kapoor for Jagga Jasoos, Adil Hussain for Mukti Bhawan, Rajkummar Rao for Newton and Akshay Kumar for Toilet - Ek Prem Katha.

Best Story Award

Amit Masukar won the Best Story Award for the film Newton, beating Siddharth-Garima for Toilet - Ek Prem Katha and Suresh Triveni and Tumhari Sulu. Dia Mirza and Colors COO Raj Nayak presented the award to Amit.

Best Director Award

Saket Chaudhary has won the Best Director Award for Hindi Medium, starring Irrfan Khan. The other nominated directors in the category are Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari for Bareilly Ki Barfi, Anurag Basu for  Jagga Jasoos, Amit V Masurkar for Newton and Suresh Triveni for Tumhari Sulu.  

Best Actress award

Sridevi won Best Actress Award for her role in Mom. Her husband Boney Kapoor received the award on her behalf. Alia Bhatt for Badrinath Ki Dulhania, Zaira Wasim for Secret Superstar, Bhumi Pednekar for Shubh Mangal Saavdhan and Vidya Balan for Tumhari Sulu were also nominated in the category.

Best Film Award

And the award for Best Film goes to Vidya Balan starrer Tumhari Sulu. The film was competing with Bareilly Ki Barfi, Hindi Medium, Newton and Toilet - Ek Prem Katha to win the award.

Rekha takes to stage after 20 years

The most awaited performance of the night is finally here. Rekha has performed with the same grace she did years ago in Umrao Jaan. This might be her first performance in 20 years, but she still has the charm and grace. Watch Rekha's performance video below:

Late actress Sridevi honoured for her contribution to Indian cinema. Boney Kapoor received the award on her behalf, while Anil Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor supported Boney.

Anupam Kher received the outstanding achievement award in Indian cinema.

Shraddha Kapoor slaying it with her performance

It's time for another energetic performance. Shraddha Kapoor set the stage on fire and showed her killer moves by performing to the tunes of Humma Humma song from her movie Ok Janu. Watch her showing the moves below:

Another deserving award for Secret Superstar. Meher Vij takes home Best Supporting Actress award for Secret Superstar, beating Seema Pahwa for Bareilly Ki Barfi and Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, Tabu for Golmaal Again and Neha Dhupia for Tumhari Sulu. Varun Dhawan and Radhika Apte presented the award.

Playback singers award

Arijit Singh won best playback singer male award for Hawayein song from Jab Harry Met Sejal and Meghna Mishra won best playback singer female award for Secret Superstar.

Arjun Kapoor and Kriti Sanon's energetic performance

Another energetic performance. Arjun Kapoor and Kriti Sanon raise the energy level by performing on Tune Mari Entriyaan. Watch their performance below:

Konkona Sensharma receives the award for Best Debutante Director for A Death In The Gunj, while Nawazuddin Siddiqui receives the award for best male actor in supporting role for Mom.

Amaal Mallik bagged the award for Best Music Director for the movie Badrinath Ki Dulhania. Kriti Sanon, on the other hand, won the Most Stylish Icon award.

Finally! Sanju actor Ranbir Kapoor is in the house. Dressed in a black suit, Ranbir is looking handsome as ever. 

IIFA Awards' first performance

Kartik Aaryan is the first performer of the night. The actor, who hosted IIFA Rocks 2018, has performed to his hit songs and Salman Khan's blockbuster hit Swag se Swagat. Watch the video below:
