The 20th edition of International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK) is set to take place in Thiruvananthapuram between 4-11 December, 2015. 

Jayaraj's state and National Award-winning "Ottal" and Satish Babusenan's "Chaayam Poosiya Veedu" (The Painted House) have made it to the list of films under the competition category for the IFFK 2015.  

Sidharth Siva's "Ain" ('The Eye'), Bijukumar Damodaran's "Valiya Chirakulla Pakshikal" ('Birds with Large Wings'), Salim Ahamed's "Pathemari", Sanal Kumar Sasidharan's "Ozhivudivasathe Kali" (An Off-Day Game), VK Prakash's "Nirnayakam" and R Harikumar's "Kaattum Mazhayum" will be screened during the IFFK 2015 under the 'Malayalam Cinema Today' category.

Meanwhile, the makers of Prithviraj Sukumaran and Parvathy starrer "Ennu Ninte Moideen", which was also included in the 'Malayalam Cinema Today' section, have backed out as the RS Vimal directorial was not considered under the competition category.

Mammootty's "Pathemari", which was released on 9 October, receiving amazing response from the critics and the audience alike.

Chaired by writer and film critic Malti Sahai, the films to be screened during IFFK were selected by jury members MF Thomas, Chandrasekhar, Sashi Kumar and Sudhish Kamath.

Kerala State Chalachitra Academy (The Motion Picture Academy of the State of Kerala, India) conducts the prestigious film festival every year aiming to present a selection of the best of World Cinema.
