Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu has clarified that he will not be attending the audio launch of Vikram-Shankar's "I", which is set to happen on 15 September in Chennai.

"I" audio launch event is likely to be a grand affair with the presence of several film celebrities. Hollywood star Arnold Schwarzenegger has confirmed that he will be attending the audio launch function of the Vikram starrer. Many south film celebrities including Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan and Mammootty are expected to attend the grand event.

There were reports doing the rounds that Mahesh will also be attending the event. But the actor has stated that he cannot attend the function due to prior commitments.

"I won't be attending the audio launch of 'I' as I will be busy due to prior commitments. I wish the team best of luck," Mahesh told IANS.

The actor also refuted rumours of doing a film with director Shankar. Recently, Shankar had attended the audio launch of Mahesh's upcoming film "Aagadu." Since then, there has been a buzz that the actor-director duo will be doing a film together.

"Shankar was present at the audio launch of 'Aagadu' (Aug 30) as a chief guest. There was no other special reason for his presence. I'm not doing any film with him. As soon as 'Aagadu' comes out, I'll get busy with my next project," Mahesh told IANS.

The shooting of "Aagadu" is wrapped up and Mahesh has finished dubbing for his portions. The actor is confident about the film and thanked its director Srinu Vaitla for giving him a new career high. "Thankyou sreenu garu for giving me a new career high.....love you sir :}," the actor tweeted.

"Aagadu" is all set to hit the screens on 19 September. Post the film's release, Mahesh's untitled film with Koratala Siva will go on floors. The film's shooting is expected to commence from 2 October and Shruti Haasan will be playing the female lead opposite Mahesh.

Devi Sri Prasad will be scoring music, while Mythri Movies will be producing the project.
