Hyundai Verna facelift is expected to hit Indian roads with updated front and rear profiles. The previous spy shots have indicated sporty bumper with new headlamps and LED daytime running lamps, new alloy wheels with redesigned rear end, updated bumper and integrated reflectors. Inside the cabin, the new Verna is likely to flaunt almost similar style and look of the current model and is expected to get a new touchscreen-based infotainment system.

Under hood, the new avatar of Verna is likely to pack the same 1.4-litre diesel and petrol engines and 1.6-litre diesel and petrol engines, with a five-speed manual gearbox for petrol and a six-speed manual for diesel. A six-speed automatic gearbox is also expected.

Verna facelift is speculated to get a price tag in the range of ₹7.30 lakh to ₹11.50 lakh in India and once it hits the market, the model will take on the likes of Honda City, VW Vento, and Maruti Ciaz.
