The motor buffs at Auto Car UK report that the company has begun testing the model and Elite i20 with new engine option can be expected to make its maiden appearance at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.

While the current petrol engine of Elite i20 can churn out 83ps of power and peak torque of 114nm, the diesel motor is tuned to generate 90ps of power and peak torque of 220nm.
