To provide better perspective, we sifted through multiple reliable reports and have come with a list of all the key features, which are most likely to make the cut in Huawei Mate 9.

Design language and display:

Just a few days ago, a series of high-resolution raw photos of Huawei Mate 9 surfaced online revealing that the device will have dual-edge curved screen similar to Samsung's Galaxy S7 edge and the recently launched Xiaomi Mi Note 2.

And on the back, it is expected to boast full-metal cover with dual-lens camera and fingerprint sensor.

Word on the street is that Huawei Mate 9 will be made available in two variants –one, with flat display panel having full HD (1920x1080p) and another dubbed as the Mate 9 Pro series with dual-edge screen having QHD (2560x1440p) resolution.

Both the models are said to have 5.9-inch screen size.

Processor, RAM and storage:

Huawei Mate 9 is reported to come packed with the company's recently announced HiSilicon Kirin 960 (2.5GHz Cortex A72 x 4 + 1.8GHz Cortex A53 x 4) octa-core processor and will be backed by Mali-T880 MP4 GPU.

Huawei's generic Mate 9 model is said to come with two configuration, one having 4GB RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage and another with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage.

Whereas, the advanced Pro series will house 6GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.

Mobile Operating System:

Based on the leaked benchmark test scores, Huawei's Mate 9 and Pro series are said to come with Google's Android 7.0 Nougat having Emotion v5.0 UI out-of-the-box.
