HTC has announced a mid-range smartphone called the One M9(s) in Taiwan. It is a variant of the company's flagship smartphone, the One M9 which was released in March this year.

The HTC One M9(s) sports a 5-inch Full HD display with 1080×1920 pixels (441ppi pixel density), protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4, measures 144.6 x 69.7 x 9.6mm and weigh 158g.

The device is powered by MediaTek MT6795 Helio X10 processor and run on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Sense UI 7. It comes packed with 16 GB internal memory expandable up to 2TB via microSD card and 2 GB RAM, house a 13 MP main camera with f/2.0 lens and OIS and 4 MP UltraPixel front snapper and has a 2840mAh battery.

In terms of connectivity, the HTC One M9(s) supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1, LTE, GPS with A-GPS, NFC and GLONASS.

The Taiwanese smartphone maker has announced that the HTC One M9(s) is currently available for pre-orders in Taiwan for TWD 12,900 (approximately $395) and shipping will start on 21 November.

However, it is not known if the smartphone will be sold only in Taiwan and made available to the rest of the world.
