HTC One M9 To Have A Windows Version Too, Likely Windows 10: Report

Expectations on the HTC One (M9) are sky-high following the stupendous success of its predecessors – the HTC One (M7) and (M8). Going by the reports that have appeared so far, the upcoming next-generations smartphone is expected to have superior features over the HTC One (M8).

HTC leaker @upleaks has confirmed that the Taiwanese smartphone maker's flagship device would be called HTC One (M9) as speculated and it is expected to be unveiled at the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2015 (MWC 2015) before launching a few weeks later.

According to reports, HTC may launch two models - HTC One (M9) and HTC One (M9) Plus –to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 and 64-bit MediaTek processors. HTC leaker @upleaks claimed in one of its tweets that the device would have features like a 5-inch Full HD display with 1920 x 1080 screen resolution, Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, Android 5.0 Lollipop, 3GB RAM, 2840mAh battery, HTC Sense 7, and 20.7MP main camera and 13MP or UltraPixel 4MP front snapper

The next-generation device is expected come with features like a 5.5-inch display with quad HD resolution screen, 32GB internal memory and 3GB RAM, 20MP main camera, 3,000 mAh battery and fingerprint scanner, according to BGR (via 4G News).

The Taiwanese smartphone makers are yet to confirm on the specifications mentioned in several reports over the last few weeks but it won't come as a surprise if they are seen in the device when launched.

On the other hand, the HTC One (M8) sports a 5-inch Super LCD3 capacitive touchscreen with 1080 x 1920 pixels (441 ppi pixel density) protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It also boasts of features like Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chip, Android 4.4.2 KitKat (upgradable to Android 5.0 Lollipop), 16/32 GB internal memory, 2 GB RAM and microSD up to 128 GB, Dual 4 MP main camera, 5 MP front snapper, and non-removable Li-Po 2600 mAh battery.
