HTC's recently-unveiled flagship smartphone –One (M9) – is all set for release next week.
Focus Taiwan has confirmed that HTC's 2015 marquee phone One (M9) will hit stores in its domestic market Taiwan on 16 March. The phone is said to come to in two storage variants – 32GB & 64GB- for NTD (New Taiwan Dollar) 21,900 (around $693/€654/₹43,550) and NTD 23,900 (around $756/€713/₹47,550) respectively.
The company's North Asia head, Jack Tong is upbeat about the prospects of One (M9)'s success in 2015. With top-end hardware incorporated in the new phone, he expects the successor to outsell the 2014 model by a big margin in the coming months and help boost the company's second quarter revenue.
When will the HTC One (M9) reach India?
During the unveiling of HTC One (M9), the company had announced that the new phone would be made available in four colours- Silver, Gunmetal grey, Pink, Gold around mid-March initially in select markets of North America, Europe and Asia, including India.

So in all probability, the company is expected to reveal the HTC One (M9) India release details in coming days. The India launch is imperative for HTC to give One (M9) a headstart over its rival Samsung, which is slated to launch its flagship smartphone Galaxy S6 (& S6 Edge) in mid-April.
For the uninitiated, HTC One (M9) flaunts industry's first dual-tone metal finish uni-body design language; the phone's rear is a silver-coated metal, whereas on the edges, it is laced with gold-coated metal, providing dual metal finish on the outlook.
It sports 5.0-inch full HD super LCD 3 display and runs on the latest Android 5.0.2 Lollipop with Sense v7.0. It is backed by the Snapdragon 810 SoC (System on Chip), 3GB RAM and 32GB/64GB inbuilt memory.
On the camera front, it houses a feature-rich 20.0-megapixel camera on the rear-side and an ultra-pixel (4.1-mp) snapper with wide-angle capture feature, which is sure to please selfie aficionados.
