HTC looks all geared up for the upcoming smartphone as new reports suggest a smartwatch will be launched alongside HTC One M9. There have been several rumours outlining various features and specifications of the upcoming flagship by HTC. Now, a prominent mobile tipster, Upleaks has revealed an almost-complete specs list for the HTC One M9.

Upleaks has been a reliable source for HTC rumors and the latest leaked report shows more than just a few details.

According to the report, the HTC One M9 is expected to feature a 5-inch 1080p display, a 2.0GHz Quad-core + 1.5GHz Quad-core Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB RAM, 20.7mp rear-facing camera, 13mp or 4mp Ultra Pixel for front snapper, 2,840mAh battery and support for VoLTE and LTE Cat.6 bandwidths. Additionally, the 2015 flagship is expected to run Android 5.0 Lollipop with Sense 7.0 UI on top.

There will be similar colour options for the HTC One M9 as in the M8. Customers can choose from grey, silver, gold or gun-metal gold.

Given the specs, HTC fans may not have a lot to look forward for except a few upgrades. Most importantly the display is just getting full HD treatment while rivals are betting with Quad HD.

Upleaks also pointed towards a later launch date for the HTC One M9, sometime in March 2015. The release timeline for the M9 coincides with MWC 2015 event in Barcelona in March, so it is a high possibility that the smartphone will be unveiled at the grand mobile-centric event.

Will There Be A Smartwatch Too?

A new rumour has emerged indicating a HTC smartwatch launch alongside the HTC One M9. According to a source, who spoke to Mobileburn on the condition of anonymity, HTC had its wearable ready in September 2014, but decided to delay the launch to refine the product.

According to the source, the smartwatch will feature a stainless steel band, a square face, much like the majority smartwatches in the market and powered by Android Wear.
