It was the biggest controversy to hit Bollywood in the past two years  – the alleged love affair and then a bitter break-up of Bollywood actors Hrithik Roshan and Kangana Ranaut, followed by a scandal of leaked emails and pictures, and allegations of all kinds against each other.

The controversy erupted again during the release of Kangana Ranaut's film Simran in 2017 when she continued her tirade against alleged ex-lover and costar Hrithik Roshan in an interview to Rajat Sharma on India's TV Aap Ki Adalat.

Hrithik Roshan broke his silence on camera for the first time in an interview to Arnab Goswami on Republic TV, denying all allegations.

Come January 2019 and Hrithik Roshan and Kangana Ranaut will be at war again! But this time, it will be a bigger war. It will be strictly business and a battle at the box office.

Bombay Times has reported that Kangana Ranaut's ambitious production 'Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi' will clash with Hrithik Roshan's film 'Super 30' on January 25, 2019. It is interesting to note that both movies are biopics.

In 'Manikarnika', Kangana Ranaut plays Indian warrior queen Rani Laxmibai of Jhansi, who was born as Manikarnika Tambe aka Manu.

In 'Super 30', Hrithik Roshan plays mathematician Anand Kumar, a teacher who chooses 30 meritorious students from the backward class for the entrance exam of the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). 'Super 30' is directed by Vikas Bahl, while 'Manikarnika' is helmed by Krish aka Radha Krishna Jagarlamudi.

'Manikarnika' was supposed to release on April 27, 2018 and then the release date was set to August 15 this year. But the makers have now zeroed in on January 25, 2019 to cash in on the Republic Day weekend footfalls. The Republic Day week is usually reserved by big stars of Bollywood for a movie release since it's a national holiday.

We just hope Bollywood fans don't get to hear about their love story (or not, as Hrithik claims) and why it didn't work out, again! People are already tired of it and we'd rather see our favourite stars on screen doing some good work. What do you think?
