This Thursday, ABC aired the seventh episode of "How to Get Away with Murder" (HTGAWM) and the ironies were high on the ground in "He Deserved to Die," an episode completely dedicated to Lila Stangard (Megan West) murder case.

Ever since Annalise and her associates learned about Sutter's confession on Stangard's case, they have been working round the clock to prove her innocence. Wes Gibbins (Alfred Enoch) is clearly the most affected and he wants to make Sutter free from the case.

Following the series of events last week, Nate Lahey (Billy Brown) informs Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) that he is aware of her move against Griffin O'Reilly's (Lenny Platt), but before this sequence, lot of things happened between Annalise and Rebecca Sutter (Katie Findlay) in "HTGAWM" episode 7.

"He Deserved to Die" began with Sutter narrating the series of events on the night of Stangard's death to Annalise and her associates. Suddenly, things took a new turn with a news report revealing that Griffin and Sutter had sex on the horrifying night, reported Celebdirtylaundry.com.

To bring things under control, Annalise plans to get a gag order from the court that will prevent anyone involved in the case from disclosing details about the case publicly. Through her strong arguments on prosecution leaking the information and the impact of it on her client, she obtains the gag order from court.

But professor Keating gets the shock of her life when Girffin's defence attorney Keegan (Greg Germann) comes up with a new evidence in Stangard case. According to him, the girl was strangled by someone with long fingernails so he urges the judge to exhume the body.

And then, of course, the next challenge for Keating was to stop the autopsy as it may negative affect her defendant Sutter. So the team tries out everything to stop it.

While Annalise seeks help from her husband Sam Keating (Tom Verica), her associates tries to convince Keegan's doctor.

The team also plots a fake case against Griffins claiming that he rapped Sutter. But nothing prevents the judge from ordering to exhume Stangard's body.

Finally, a new doctor comes in for Annalise help and testifies that the marks on the dead body are insect bites.

But the second autopsy drops a bombshell that Stangard was six weeks pregnant when she died.

As things are starting to take a shape in "HTGAWM", Sutter makes another shocking revelation in the flash forward sequence of "He Deserved to Die". She informs Gibbins that she is responsible for the death of Sam.

"He wanted to kill me. I had no other choice. I had to kill him or he was gonna kill me. I saw the trophy sitting there, I hit him in the head. He deserved to die and I'm glad he's dead," she said.

However, the viewers of "HTGAWM" will have to watch two more episodes to find out the real culprit of Sam.
