Honda Cars India (HCIL) has voluntary recalled 3,879 units of its popular sedan, City equipped with continuously variable transmission (CVT) manufactured between February and November 2014.

The recall is part of Honda's recalls in several regions globally. The Japanese manufacturer will update the CVT control software to optimize the hydraulic pressure applied to CVT, Honda said in a statement.
