In their latest and one of the most sinister attempts to recruit fresh members, Islamic militant group ISIS is reaching out to Ferguson protestors.

Online activists for the Islamic State are using social media to enlighten the Ferguson rioters on how joining Islam is the right solution for their cause.

The riots in Ferguson ensued after an unarmed African American teenager Mike Brown was fatally shot by Darren Wilson, a Missouri police officer on 9 August. The protesters were further infuriated after a Missouri Grand jury voted that the white police officer would not be indicted for the death of Brown.

Now ISIS is trying to spin the public outrage over Ferguson issue in its favour. Tagging Ferguson and ISIS in their posts, the Islamic militant group's online activists are reaching out to the residents of Ferguson, who are predominantly black, and are urging them to join the militants in building a Utopian society under the doctrines of Islam.

With statements like "Hey blacks, ISIS will save you", the popular ISIS propagandists declare to the Ferguson victims that their soldiers do not sleep.

Shamsalhia_2 tells rioters that regardless of the color of their skin, the Islamic state will protect them as long as they are Muslim: "The islamic state deal with people according to their religion because this is only one can choose it black=white in #IS #isis"

A picture that has a handwritten note to the Ferguson protesters, which begins with "We hear you and we will help you..", is also doing rounds on the internet. The offer, however, is valid only if they pledge allegiance to Abu Bakr Al Baghdadi, the proclaimed caliph of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.

The online recruiters also quoted Malcolm X, the civil rights activist who had advised that America needs to understand Islam as it is the only religion that erases race problem from its history.

Meanwhile, a menacing image of a torched house stalked by silhouettes of men holding bloody hatchets is also being circulated with the caption "Ferguson coming. Islamic State".
