Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan have appeared to be two of the best buddies in the recent past but the duo are still not likely to do a film together.

While the two superstars have been displaying their friendship publicly, fans are eager to see them together in a movie. However, Shah Rukh recently revealed why he and Salman are not able to feature together in a film.

SRK stated that both he and the "Sultan" actor have a very busy schedule, for which it is impossible for them to work together in a new project.

"There is no such plan of working in a film together. If you just look at our calendars, our spaces are full. Personally, my calendar is full. I am sure Salman is also busy. He is shooting for 'Sultan' right now and he told me about his other film," the "Dilwale" actor told PTI when asked about any possibility of the two working together.

There is no doubt that both Salman and Shah Rukh are two of the highest paid actors in Bollywood, and to cast them together for a film will need huge money. However, SRK said that he is "cheap and sweet", when asked if it would be very expensive to cast them together.

"I am cheap and sweet. I don't know about Salman's salary," he said. The two worked together first in the 1995 hit movie "Karan Arjun", following which they were seen sharing screen space in "Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam" in 2002. Salman also played a guest appearance in SRK's "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai".

After Salman gave two blockbusters "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" and "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" this year, Shah Rukh's much awaited flick "Dilwale" is releasing on 18 December, which is expected to be one of the highest grossers.
