Although "Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi" is revolving around a lot of serious drama, it looks like the casts and crew often indulge in a lot of pranks on the set. According to reports, Poonam Pandey, who plays the role of Krisha, Shikhar's (Arjun Bijlani) sister on the show, is often on the receiving end of pranks played by her the crew.

Director and co-stars often tease her as she finds it hard to understand the jokes on the sets and thus miss the fun. Her naive activities, inability to understand jokes, and then bombarding with silly questions has earned her the title of Alia Bhatt of "Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi".

Poonam told Telly Chakkar: "It all started when my director used a popular Hindi proverb to describe my situation and instead of getting the sarcasm, I ended up asking him silly questions. He was so much disappointed with my reaction that I ended up earning the title of Alia Bhatt of MATSH."

When asked if she feels bad about being teased, a sporty Poonam said: "I know sometimes I ask silly things. Everything is done in good humour and they don't intend to hurt me. Hence, there is no hard feeling against anyone."

The current track of "Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi" is revolving around Ishaani (Radhika Madan) trying hard to expose Ritika (Smriti Khanna) and save Ranveer (Shakti Arora) from marrying her. On the other hand, Ritika, in order to get rid of Ishaani and conceal her crimes, is attempting to kill her.
