Abhishek Bachchan, the owner of Chennaiyin FC, has all reasons to smile as his Football team is marching toward the finals at the ongoing Indian Super League (ISL).

Junior Bachchan, a sports-lover, had a successful, yet a busy year. First, his Kabbaddi team that emerged as the season's winner and then his recently-released successful film, "Happy New Year", along with Shah Rukh Khan.

While, the actor had the support of his parents and his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan throughout his ventures, the fans and well-wishers of Abhishek too had extended their support to him and his teams.

And in return for the kind gesture, Abhishek came up with an innovative idea to thank his fans by gifting them customised Chennaiyin FC jerseys, with their names inscribed on it.

Fans hailing from India, the UK, the USA, France, Singapore, the Philippines and the UAE have received the special gift from the "Happy New Year" star.

Speaking about his Thanksgiving gesture, a source told DNA: "Abhishek's fans have stayed in touch with him over social media platforms - Twitter and FB and they have constantly acted as a strong support system through the Kabaddi and Football games - As a gesture Abhishek decided to gift them all customised Chennaiyin FC jerseys with their names on it".

Meanwhile, actress Priyamani, who has worked with Abhishek in Mani Ratnam's "Raavan" (2010), was also overjoyed as she received the jersey. The duo became close friends during the shoots and used to spend quality time together. Post the film's release, both Jr Bachchan and Priyamani have been in constant touch with each other.

The gorgeous actress took to Twitter to express her gratitude to the actor, who made an effort to send her the special gift.
