Diwali this year is turning out to be quite a dampener in southern regions of India, but other cities have their party mode on.

"Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" actress Divyanka Tripathi shared a few captures from Ekta Kapoor's Diwali bash and in one of them, Abhishek Bachchan made an appearance. Anita Hassanandani and Karan Patel too shared glimpses from the festive do on social media.

Also, Anita and Karan also attended another event on choti Diwali.

In other news, Divyanka's Diwali plans are very simple, and noise-free. "I support noise-free and eco-friendly Diwali. The only Diwali ritual but which is close to my heart is visiting my grandfather's place where entire family gathers," she told IANS.

Anita looked gorgeous in a hard-to-explain ensemble, while Divyanka kept it simple in an anarkali.

What was surprising was Karan's wife, Ankita Bhargava, who is usually spotted at such events went missing as she is busy celebrating the festival with her family.
