Actor Danny DeVito, who rose to fame for his portrayal of taxi dispatcher Louie De Palma on "Taxi", turned 71 on Tuesday, 17 November 2015.

The actor, producer and director has since starred in a number of projects including "Tin Men," "Throw Momma from the Train," "Romancing the Stone," "Twins," and "Batman Returns."

Recently, DeVito opened up about his desire to reprise his role as a long-lost twin in a sequel to "Twins", and noted that Eddie Murphy would be joining him and as a long-lost sibling.

"With Triplets with Arnie - yeah we've been talking about it for a while, everybody wants to do it, we just have to find time," said DeVito at a children's charity gala in London on 4 November 2015. "Eddie Murphy may be with us, playing our brother, long-lost twin brother."

Arnold Schwarzenegger too spoke passionately about the project during an appearance on The Howard Stern Show in June, saying: "Now we are talking about a sequel, where we find out at the funeral of our mother, that when we read the will, that there's three of us. Eddie Murphy is going to be the third one and so they go, 'How did that happen' There's an African American coming in here and all of a sudden he's our brother. So we go to do the research but he can only get the money if we find him, so now we have to get him involved."

"Twins" was released in 1988 and it was a huge success, raking in about $216 million worldwide. Schwarzenegger essayed the role of Julius Benedict while DeVito played Vincent Benedict. They play fraternal twins who were separated at birth.

Here are a few witty quotes from the movie:

Vincent Benedict: [impressed with Julius's fighting abilities] You could be a boxer or something. I could be your manager.
Julius Benedict: No, I could never fight for money.
Vincent Benedict: Well that's fine. You fight, I'll keep the money.

Julius Benedict: My name is Julius and I am your twin brother.
Vincent Benedict: Oh, obviously! The moment I sat down I thought I was looking into a mirror.

Vincent Benedict: Money talks and bullshit walks!
Julius Benedict: How can bullshit walk?
