Steam is celebrating the Lunar New Year, this being the Year of the Monkey according to the Chinese calendar, by hosting a massive sale on a wide range of popular games. This is the biggest sale Steam has hosted in over two months, giving gamers a great opportunity to get their favourite titles at discounted price.
Steam Lunar New Year Sale is offering discounts up to 80 percent on several bestsellers and new releases too. All shoppers are assured to get attractive discounts during the sale, which will run until 10 a.m. PST (11:30pm IST) on 12 February, 2016.
"Now through February 12th, shop the Steam Lunar New Year Sale for great deals on thousands of games!" Valve said in an official blog post Friday. "Check back every day to see new front-page features, or follow the Lunar New Year adventure story to explore the Steam catalog."
Steam set up an interactive way to connect gamers to the kind of games they prefer. Steam Store listed highlighted deals on games at the top and shoppers can see the other games as they scroll down. There are the different categories – New Releases, Games in your language, Recently updated or Wishlist – to choose from.

There are questions on the home page that require selecting from the likes of driving, swimming, ninja, pirates, card games, fighting, investigating, sports and more. Depending on the choice, Steam leads to a list of titles like MotoGP 15, F1 game franchise for choosing driving, BioShock 2, Disney Finding Nemo for aquatic games or swimming, Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag and Blood and Gold: Caribbean for pirate games category and so on.
