Bridget Regan will be coming to Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital pretty soon. She will be guest-starring in the seventh episode titled The Room Where it Happens and speculations are rife that she will be playing Arizona's new love interest.
Arizona has been without a love interest ever since she parted ways with Callie, who has since moved on with Penny. But both Shonda Rhimes and Jessica Capshaw had hinted that things will be looking up for Arizona in Season 13.
"The beginning of something is so interesting and nuanced. There's nothing like it," Capshaw told NBC News about a bright future for Arizona. "Now she get to be free and free to find new things -- new adventures and new love.Whatever happens next for Arizona will be lovely, right and exactly as it she should be."
In an interview with TVLine, Capshaw teased that viewers won't have to wait long to wait Arizona's new love interest. "My sources are telling me that it's not going to be too far away. We had to wade through a little muck first. But I do feel that Arizona has certainly waited long enough," she said.
Meanwhile, the next episode of Grey's Anatomy is titled Falling Slowly and it will see Alex trying to do the right thing after beating DeLuca to pulp. Elsewhere, Jackson and April will adjust to having a baby in their lives and Meredith and Nathan will finally discuss the nature of their relationship. A newly married Amelia and Owen are expected to face some problems in their relationship.
Grey's Anatomy airs Thursdays on ABC.
