Grey's Anatomy has only a few more episodes to go before Season 13 winds up, and judging by the spoilers doing the rounds, it's possible a number of popular characters will find themselves in trouble before the big season finale.
This Thursday's episode will see Justin Chambers' Alex landing in trouble when he operates on a boy without the consent of his parents. Alex believes only a surgery will save the young boy, but his mother is against any form of surgical intervention.
Alex will put his career in jeopardy by proceeding with the surgery and the promo shows the child's father screaming at Alex, "You had no right to touch him!"
It doesn't seem like Alex will be land in big trouble for operating without consent, as the synopsis for Season 13 episode 23 has Alex attending a medical conference.
Elsewhere in this Thursday's episode, we'll see Jerrika Hinton's character Stephanie planning to move out of Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. Hinton made her debut on the medical drama as an intern in Season 9 and she is currently a surgical resident at the hospital. This Thursday's episode will explain why she takes the decision to leave Grey Sloan.
Grey's Anatomy Season 13 episode 22 is titled Leave It Inside and the official synopsis reads:
April and Andrew consult with a fiery patient who has a giant, inoperable heart tumor. Meanwhile, Alex and Eliza are at odds over the treatment of a young patient; and Stephanie and Ben make decisions that could affect their careers.
Grey's Anatomy airs Thursdays at 8 pm ET on ABC.
