The Grammy Awards night 2014 is only a few days away but the latest music sensation Lorde was in no mood to rest as she performed for a packed crowd at the Soho House in Los Angeles on Thursday.

The 17-year-old New Zealander, who sang several songs, including "Gone and Glory" and "Royals," thanked the crowd and urged them to watch the Grammy Awards ceremony on Sunday. Lorde is expected to perform on the Grammy night too.

Lorde has four nominations in the Grammys this year, including Record of the Year (Royals), Song of the Year (Royals), Best Pop Solo Performance (Royals) and Best Pop Vocal Album (Pure Heroine). She is one of the favorites to walk away with multiple awards this Sunday.

The 56th Grammy Awards will take place at the Staples Center in Downtown Los Angeles on Sunday (26 January) where the winners will be announced. Hosted by LL Cool J, the ceremony will be aired at 8 pm ET on CBS.

Several big names like Stevie Wonder, Daft Punk, Pharrell Williams and Nile Rodgers will perform on the biggest night in music. Other biggies in music industry like Metallica, Gary Clark Jr., Jay-Z, Beyonce and Madonna are also expected to hit the stage.
