Pawan Kalyan-Venkatesh starrer "Gopala Gopala" has done steady business at the worldwide box office.

The film hit theatres on 10 January and took good openings by earning over ₹9 crore share. It continued to hold well despite the release of magnum opus "I", which hit the screens on 14 January. Decent reviews and the long Pongal/Sankranti holidays have worked in favour of "Gopala Gopala" and the film has fetched good collections at the box office.

The Pawan Kalyan-Venkatesh starrer has minted ₹37.9 crore share (₹59 crore gross) at the worldwide box office, reported Andhraboxoffice. The film has surpassed the lifetime collections of Mahesh Babu's "Pokiri" (₹36.68 crore) and is likely to beat "Businessman" (₹39 crore) and "Robo" (Telugu version – ₹39.67 crore) soon.

"Gopala Gopala" has taken the 18th spot in the list of all time top 25 Telugu films with highest worldwide share. Pawan Kalyan's "Attarintiki Daaredi" tops the list, followed by Ram Charan's "Magadheera."

"Gabbar Singh", "Dookudu", "Race Gurram", "Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu", "Mirchi", "Yevadu", "Baadshah", "Naayak", "Racha", "Eega", "Govindudu Andari Vaadele", "Legend", "Julayi" and "Manam" have also made it to the top 20 list.

"Gopala Gopala" has created a new record in Mandapeta in east Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. The film has beaten "Magadheera" record in the town by minting ₹20.8 lakh share in just nine days.

"#GopalaGopala creates New Record in Mandapeta (E.G AP). 20.8 Lac SHARE for 9 Days, All Time Closing Town Record. Magadheera Full run broken," tweeted Andhraboxoffice.

The worldwide theatricals of the Pawan-Venkatesh starrer is valued at over ₹46 crore. The film needs to fare well for the next few days to earn profits.

With Kalyan Ram's "Pataas" hitting screens on 23 January, "Gopala Gopala" might witness some drop in collections. One has to wait and watch if the Pawan-Venkatesh starrer can hold well and manage to earn decent collections in its second week at the worldwide box office.
