At first glance, you'd think Kate Middleton is all poise and elegance but she's the perfect example of never judge a book by its cover. The Duchess of Cambridge is a bawse and we are in awe of a brand new information from the past.

This blast from the past has got us thinking that Catherine Middleton was actually much, much ahead of her time. While social media has been pushing towards stabbing patriarchy in the back for quite some time now, the Duchess f**ked patriarchy back in college.

How? Kate took the help of alcohol to send out a strong message. Now before you go all he-haw on that horse of yours, hear out the whole story. The now 36-year-old royal family member co-founded a drinking society exclusively for women at the Scottish university where she and William studied.

According to The Guardian report from 2007, the Duchess grew confident during her time at the university. One of the many things she did at St. Andrews was co-founding a girls' drinking society. Why? Because she was "annoyed that the old ones excluded women." But her friends clarify that no one remembered her getting very drunk.

It is not shocking to know that the old "societies" were reserved only for male students on the campus. At the time Kate was studying, only-male societies were a common thing. It is only from the past few years that they have begun inviting women to join.

The publication also spoke to Kate's friends about the notorious see-through dress over lingerie photos. "[Her] friends insist she was no exhibitionist. It was just a student charity event. Tickets were £20, not £200 as reported, and the room was basically full of friends. It was no big deal.'"

Joining the royal family hasn't restricted Kate from having a good time now-and-then. Recently, the Duchess, her husband William, her three kids and her parents were in Mustique for a secret vacation.

Hello Magazine reported that onlookers watched the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge enjoying drinks at Basil's Bar without the children.
