Game of Thrones Season 7 premiere is still weeks away, but a set of new photographs from the highly anticipated penultimate season has been released, giving fans a glimpse into what they can expect.

One photo shows Daenerys Targaryen, who was last seen making her way to Westeros, riding her Drogon in a battle scene. It is not clear where this take place, but it's safe to guess that the battle takes place in the first half of the season, shortly after Daenerys' arrival.

The other noteworthy photo is the one of Arya Stark on a horse outside a castle gate. It looks like Arya is back in Winterfell for the first time ever since she left her home in Season 1.

Spoilers from the filming location have been hinting at a reunion of the remaining Starks, as Bran is also heading south of the Wall. Jon Snow and Sansa's reunion was one of the highlights of the previous season.

Recently, Iain Glen, the actor who plays Jorah, opened up to Entertainment Weekly about Season 7, saying it was the best seven episodes.

"I wrote to Dan and David and I said I thought they were the best seven episodes they've ever written," Glen said.

He continued: "The story is going toward a conclusion. There's no sense of treading water. You have storylines colliding. And the evolving drama and relationships are as good as they have ever been. It definitely feels like the beginning of the end game."

As for the fate of his character, Glen said Jorah would die a happy man if he could get forgiveness from Daenerys. "He's been in that mental territory half his life. He's always been willing to sacrifices his life for her. His loss of life is not as big for him as seeking her redemption," he said.

Game of Thrones will return to HBO on July 16. The penultimate season will consist of just seven episodes.
