Bethesda has announced that it will not unveil any game at the Game Awards 2014, disappointing Fallout fans, who hoped that the developer would announce Fallout 4 at the event in Las Vegas.

Pete Hines, marketing executive of Bethesda said in a tweet that he was attending the event as a mark of support to MachineGames, who developed Wolfenstein: The New Order, which is one of the contenders in categories like Best Narrative and Best Shooter.

"I'm getting asked a lot about this week and what we're doing. Going to VGX to support MachineGames. That's it. Not showing anything," he said.

The expectations from Bethesda were due to its track record. Since in 2010 it had announced The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim during a similar event.

While, Bethesda and Microsoft said there won't be any games from them, EA has noted that it is looking forward to the event.

Peter Moor, COO at EA said in a tweet, "I'm looking forward to joining @geoffkeighley on stage Friday night in Las Vegas @thegameawards to make a special announcement from @EA."

It has been speculated that EA might reveal a new game like Dead Space or release dates for Battlefront or Mirror's Edge 2.

Meanwhile, a new trailer that was released hints at world premiers of titles like No Man's Sky, Bloodborne, The Order: 1886, Metal Gear Online, King's Quest, Adr1ft and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

Apart from these, the trailer says that there are some surprise announcements too. Reports have said that there will be about 18 world premieres in all at the Game Award event on 5 December 2014.
