Apart from popular television series, including "The Vampire Diaries" and "The Walking Dead", drama lovers will get to watch some new shows, such as "Galavant", "Better Call Saul", "CSI: Cyber", "Agent Carter" and "American Crime", in 2015.

While "Galavant" will take the viewers through the world of fairytale, "American Crime" will revolve around a racially charged murder.

The fairy-tale themed musical drama by Dan Fogelman will revolve around the lives of Galavant (Joshua Sasse), Madalena (Mallory Jansen) and evil King Richard (Timothy Omundson). The series will be telecast from Sunday, 4 January on ABC and will have eight episodes in the first season.

Other lead characters in "Galavant" include Vinnie Jones as Gareth, Karen David as Isabella and Luke Youngblood as Sid.

Agent Carter

Marvel's upcoming television series for ABC is created by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely and will be premiered on Tuesday, 6 January. The show is inspired from Marvel's short film of the same name as well as the films Captain America: The First Avenger and Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

The storyline of "Agent Carter" revolves around the life of a woman named Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell), who tries to balance her administrative work and secret mission. Other cast members include James D'Arcy as Edwin Jarvis, Chad Michael Murray as Jack Thompson, Enver Gjokaj as Daniel Sousa and Shea Whigham as Roger Dooley.

Better Call Saul

The spin-off series of "Breaking Bad" is created by Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould. The storyline of "Better Call Saul" will take the viewers through the life of Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) before his appearance in the original series. The show will be aired on AMC from 8 February 2015.

The cast members of "Better Call Saul" include Jonathan Banks as Mike Ehrmantraut, Michael McKean as Chuck McGill, Rhea Seehorn as Kim Wexler, Patrick Fabian as Howard Hamlin, Michael Mando as Nacho Varga, Julie Ann Emery as Betsy Kettleman and Jeremy Shamos as Craig Kettleman.

CSI: Cyber

It is the fourth instalment from the CSI franchise and another spin-off drama scheduled for 2015. The drama, which has been derived from CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, is scheduled to kick off on CBS from 4 March.

"CSI: Cyber" stars Patricia Arquette as Dr Avery Ryan, PhD, James Van Der Beek as Elijah Mundo, Peter MacNicol as Stavros Sifter, Charley Koontz as Daniel Grummitz, Bow Wow as Brody Nelson and Hayley Kiyoko as Raven Ramirez.

American Crime

ABC's new American crime drama will revolve around a racially charged murder and is scheduled to premiere on Thursday, 5 March, at 10pm.

The cast members of "American Crime" include Felicity Huffman as Barb Hanlon, Timothy Hutton as Russ Skokie, W Earl Brown as Tom Carlin, Richard Cabral as Hector Tonz, Caitlin Gerard as Aubry Taylor, Benito Martinez as Alonzo Gutierrez, Penelope Ann Miller as Eve Carlin, Elvis Nolasco as Carter Nix and Johnny Ortiz as Tony Gutierrez.
