UPDATE
Ford's highly anticipated Figo Aspire compact sedan made its India debut with a price tag starting at Rs 4.89 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Ford Figo Aspire petrol is priced at Rs 4.89 lakh, while the diesel Aspire and Aspire petrol AT comes for Rs 5.89 lakh and Rs 7.79 lakh, respectively.

Ford Figo Aspire launch event will kickstart at 12.30 pm on 12 August.
Ford India is all set to pull the wraps off its highly anticipated sedan Figo Aspire in India on 12 August (Wednesday).
Figo Aspire, the latest entrant in the lucrative sedan segment, will be pitted against Maruti Dzire, Hyundai Xcent, Tata Zest and Honda Amaze and the car will be manufactured at the company's facility in Sanand, Gujarat.
Figo Aspire Engine
Figo Aspire will be available in three engine options: 1.2-liter Ti-VCT petrol, 1.5-litre TDCI and 1.5-litre Ti-VCT motor. The transmission will be taken care of by either a five-speed manual transmission or a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
The base model of Figo Aspire will be powered by 1.2-liter Ti-VCT engine, which can churn out 88 PS @ 6300 rpm and 112 Nm @ 4000 rpm of peak torque and come mated to a five-speed manual transmission, whereas the 1.5-liter TDCi that has the capacity to produce 100PS of power and 215Nm of torque will come with 5-speed manual gearbox. The third engine in the line-up, the 1.5-liter Ti-VCT, is tuned to produce 112 PS @ 6300 rpm and 136 Nm @ 4250 rpm of torque with 6-Speed dual clutch automatic gearbox.
Figo Aspire Features
The model Ford's first compact sedan offering will come equipped with steering mounted audio controls automatic climate control, height adjustable seats, ABS and airbags.
Figo Aspire Price, Bookings and Availability
The new sedan is expected to be priced in the range of Rs 5.2 lakh and Rs 7 lakh. The bookings for Figo Aspire are underway in the country.
Ford Figo Aspire will be available in Ambiente, Trend, Titanium and Titanium+ trims and will come in six exterior colour choices: Ruby Red, Sparkling Gold, Oxford White, Tuxedo Black, Deep Impact Blue, Ingot Silver and Smoke Grey.
