One of the most-anticipated competition, FIH Hockey World League semifinals is set to start from 15 to 25 June in London, England. The other semfinals will take place in South Africa, starting next month.

With the first World League semifinals starting Thursday, one can expect some quality action on the hockey turf. There are some strong teams, competing for a place in the finals, which will be held later in the year in India.

The ten teams have been divided into Group A and B, with the top four of each group reaching the quarterfinals in London.

Group A comprises Argentina, South Korea, China, Malaysia and hosts England, which makes up for an entertaining group. The other group is even more interesting and dangerous with the likes of Netherlands, India, Pakistan, Canada and Scotland involved.

It also means India and Pakistan will be the biggest match in the group.

Though the likes of Argentina, India, Netherlands and England might be looked upon as favourites, predicting the winner in the FIH Hockey World League semifinals is not going to be easy.
