Fiat's Punto-based Avventura has become the talk of the town. The car, which is a new entrant in the crossover segment, has been spied testing time and again in the country. Now the latest is the images of the production ready Avventura, revealing more details of the upcoming car.

The auto enthusiasts in the country have been waiting to hear of the launch of Fiat's new crossover Avventura in India since its first appearance at 2014 Delhi Auto Expo. Although the company remains silent on the same, the latest rumour is that the car would make its way to the market later in the year, to be more specific, around the festive season. The report might ring true as the recent spied images of Avventura show the production ready vehicle.

The latest batch of spy pics has been posted by AutoColumn. The images reveal that the upcoming Avventura looks similar to the concept vehicle shown at the Delhi Auto Expo, but the car misses out the Daytime Running Lights (DRL).

On the interior front, the car is not much different from the company's Linea facelift. However, the Avventura might get new center console, dual-tone dashboard and tilt-meter. Under the hood, Fiat Avventura will come with the same Punto 1.3-litre multijet diesel and 1.4-litre FIRE petrol engine options and the company is likely to price the Avventura higher than the Punto.

The company is also expected to launch Fiat 500 Abarth and 2014 Punto Facelift in India in the coming months. The new updated diesel version of the new Punto Facelift will pack the same 1.3 liter Multijet diesel engine, which can churn out a power of 75bhp and a torque of 197Nm.

The petrol model of the Punto facelift will draw its power from 1.2 and 1.4 litre engine, which can generate a power of 68bhp-96Nm and 90bhp-115Nm respectively. The car, which has been spied testing in India numerous times, is likely to pack tweaks in its 16-inch alloys, rear parking sensor, cruise control, auto headlamps and dashboard.

Previous reports had also suggested that the company will launch the 500 Abarth in the domestic market during the festive season of this year. Fiat 500 Abarth, the first Abarth branded car in India, will come with 1.4-litre, turbocharged, 4-cylinder petrol engine under the hood, which can churn out either 137PS or 163PS.
