EXO fans have been waiting for long for the band to make a comeback. While the band members haven't said much about their new album or given a clue about what fans can expect, they did say that it will be bombastic.

EXO members Chanyeol, Kai, D.O. and Sehun met fans in Shanghai, China, for a promotional activity and even answered a few questions from the enthusiastic and devoted crowd who turned out in large numbers.

During the event, the K-pop artists were asked to elaborate on the idea or the concept behind their new album, EXO member Kai only had this to say: "We're coming back with a new album and like every one of our comebacks, it will be quite grand."

The "Call me Baby" singer added to the vagueness by stating that the band's performance for the new album will be intense and heavy and one that fans can very much look forward to, according to Allkpop.

EXO's comeback is scheduled to take place in June; however, the band members have been busy with several other promotional activities.

Recently, Chen and Chanyeol competed against EXID's Hani and Solji in JTBC's hit variety show, "Running Man." For Chanyeol, the experience was nerve-racking, partly because he had to sing a mellow, soulful song about love and the fragility of a relationship with a loved one.

The band's resident rapper managed to impress the crowd with his soft vocals though. EXO won against the all girl group. While talking to the producers of "Sugar Man" Chanyeol said, "Officially, this was my first time to sing. I've never been that nervous in my life," according to Soompi

Perhaps members of EXO will also push themselves and venture into a new territory when they make their comeback, just like Chanyeol did on "Sugar Man."
